Hickling Barn offers a wide range of facilities including a large hall, kitchen, cinema/video projector, snooker room, playing field and changing rooms.
Hickling Infant School
The school is for children aged four to eight years old. It serves the parishes of Hickling and Sea Palling with Waxham. After year 3 the children transfer to Stalham Middle School.
St Mary's Church is built of stone and, outside, of knapped flint; having five bays in the nave and a ninety-foot tower housing five bells. The present Church dates from the thirteenth century.
Hickling Methodist Church
Hickling Methodist Church is situated on the main road through the village. Morning worship is fairly traditional, the evening is very different.
As well as the residents of Hickling, we also welcome people from surrounding villages. So, if you are retired, semi retired or approaching retirement, please come along – you will be made very welcome.
Hickling Broad Sailing Club
We are a thriving friendly club with a proud tradition of promoting dinghy sailing at all levels. The club is a member of the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and is affiliated to the Norfolk and Suffolk Boating Association.
